4. Consume vegetable and fruits -your diet should be balanced with plenty of fruits and vegetable. Researched have shown that fruits like watermelons, apples and berries as well as vegetables like cabbage, parsley, zucchini, cauliflower, tomatoes, and pumpkin can aid in preventing cancer. If you are a special diet, you should ensure that you get enough vitamins as well.

5. Include cereals in your diet - cereals are good sources of protein - bran, oatmeal, and wheat also boost the body resistance against many prostate diseases.

6. Massage the pressure points - massaging the prostate is a well proven way to help combating prostate diseases. Your doctor should be able to advise you.

All these measures will help to prevent prostate diseases. However, the most important preventive measure is to go for regular screening yearly or at least once every two years once you are 40 years old.
